Compaq

Compaq Computer Corporation is a company used the United States personal computer, which was established in 1982, and now is one of the brands of the company Hewlett-Packard. The company was founded by Rod Canion, Jim Harris and Bill Murto - former Texas Instruments senior managers. The name "COMPAQ" is an abbreviation of "Compatibility and Quality" (the quality and compatibility), and at the time of establishment, Compaq produces a number of IBM PC compatible computer.

Had been the personal computer system supplier in the world, Compaq became the independent company until 2002, which merged with Hewlett-Packard.
